Asics Gel-Luminus 2 Women’s Running Shoes
The Asics GEL-Luminus 2 stability running shoe delivers outstanding comfort to those who need a little more protection and support to keep their running gait as efficient as possible. Designed for moderate overpronators, this cushioned running shoe incorporates FluidFit in the upper, a FluidRide midsole and rearfoot and forefoot GEL shock absorbers.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The breathable mesh provides you will exceptional comfort and ventilation to allow the excess sweat and moisture to escape so your feet remain cool and dry. Working with the mesh is FluidFit technology which offers a full, unrestricted range of motion and stretches in multiple directions to create a glove-like fit. A removable ComforDry sockliner provides cushioning performance and moisture wicking for a cooler, dryer, healthier environment. An EVA sockliner is moulded to the shape of the foot, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic. Reflective detail significantly improves safety and visibility in low light conditions such as early morning or evening runs when the light is at a premium.
FluidRide provides the ultimate in bounce back and cushioning characteristics while being lightweight to help you gain maximum performance without the unwanted bulk. Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. Rounding off the midsole is the DuoMax system which provides greater comfort and enhances gait efficiency, perfect for those who have pronation issues.
AHAR+ Rubber Outsole
New blown AHAR outsole material delivers enhanced cushioning, durability and ride to the foot. This enables a more comfortable feel as you strive for the best results and performance. The Trusstic System integrates Guidance construction for enhanced gait efficiency while providing midfoot structural integrity. Asics’ Impact Guidance System (IGS) is a design philosophy that employs linked componentry to enhance the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.
